The Commack Wrestling Association website is dedicated to serving the needs of the amateur sports community within a trusted environment. On this page is a detailed processes that we employ to provide a safe and secure website to our visitors.

It is the Commack Wrestling Association policy to carefully safeguard the privacy of the information you provide to us by means of this website. Because we gather certain types of information about the users of our site and services, we feel you should fully understand how we capture and use of that information. This privacy policy discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.

The only personally identifiable data that is gathered on this site is information you voluntarily provide to us. We do not surreptitiously gather personally identifiable data from you. However, we do gather aggregate information about our visitors using cookies. Aggregate information cannot be used to track the activities of one particular visitor but shows us what our visitors as a whole seem to find useful on this site. Aggregate information also enables us to better tailor our content to visitors' needs and helps us to better understand the demographics of our audience.

We do not collect the e-mail addresses of people who communicate with us via e-mail except to respond to these communications. We may archive messages for quality assurance purposes. In cases where we use a third-party vendor to provide a service, feedback or questions directed to us about that service may be forwarded to the vendor for a direct response to the member or visitor.

It is the association’s policy not to collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If a child under the age of thirteen wishes to compete and/or register for a national team or event, a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult must enter the relevant information and provide verifying status as an adult.

The Commack Wrestling Association uses the information voluntarily given by it’s visitor’s in order to issue registration and/or entry forms. This information is needed to track participation in events for insurance and control purposes. In addition, tracking information is used to determine which areas of our site our visitors and members like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. The association does not track what individuals read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to improve our site and services for you.

The Commack Wrestling Association does not share information about its enrollment and/or visitors with sponsors and limits, that which is necessary only for insurance purposes, to a third party such as the AAU . All third parties are required to adhere to privacy safeguards similar to those offered to you by the Commack Wrestling Association.

You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personally identifiable information (e.g., user name, e-mail address) on the sites of third parties which are linked to the Commack Wrestling Association website, that information can be collected and correlated and used by the third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of the Commack Wrestling Association.

Please be advised that in all cases the Commack Wrestling Association reserves the right to disclose information, including personally identifiable information, for any reason if, in our sole discretion, we believe that it is reasonable to do so, including: to satisfy laws, such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, regulations, or governmental or legal requests for such information, or to protect the Commack Wrestling Association, it’s enrollment and/or it’s visitors.

If we decide to change our privacy policy we will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone.

The Commack Wrestling Association website contains links to other sites not affiliated with the Commack Wrestling Association. These sites have their own policies and practices with respect to online privacy, and the Commack Wrestling Association cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these unaffiliated websites. While the Commack Wrestling Association strives to protect their enrollment and visitor’s personal information and privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and you do so at your own risk.

The Commack Wrestling Association’s policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, and therefore beyond the association’s control, and is not to be applied in any manner contrary to applicable law or governmental regulation.
