The WALL OF FAME was created to recognize student-athletes who have excelled in the sport of wrestling. The sole purpose is to give present and future students role models of achievement and to inspire them with the knowledge that graduates can accomplish success and contribute their talents to the outside world upon leaving high school.



John Greisheimer | Wantagh

The fiery Greisheimer earned his 87th consecutive victory and second straight state title in 2009. The Edinboro bound Greisheimer takes with him two national high school runner-up titles.

Paul Liguori | Wantagh
Senior | 135 lb. class
Season | 42-3
Career | 216-16
Liguori finished his career as Nassau's all-time leader with 216 wins. He finished third in the state for the second year in a row after winning titles as a freshman and sophomore.

Steven Keith | Shoreham-Wading River
Senior | 119 lb. class
Season | 46-0
Career | 182-15
The Harvard bound Keith showed his resilience with an overtime victory in the 2009 state final against Justis Flamio of Mahopac, a 3x state place-winner. Keith is a 2x state and 3x Suffolk champion.



Joe Booth | Lutheran
Senior | 152 lb.class
Season | 47-0
Career | 184-12
The four-time state private school champion and three-time prep national placewinner, who will wrestle at Drexel, was crowned the national prep school 2008 champion.
